Voici un livre écrit par Robert (Bobby) M. Tidmarsh Mein Leben in Schönbrunn (Ma vie à Schönbrunn). Bobby a été employée dans le château de Schönbrunn à partir de 1974 jusqu’à 2012. Son livre contient des informations intéressantes sur les coulisses de ses années à Schönbrunn avec une explication très détaillée du Palais et sa place dans l’histoire autrichienne.
 
Here a book writing by Robert (Bobby) M. Tidmarsh Mein Leben in Schönbrunn  (My life in Schönbrunn). Bobby was employed in Schönbrunn Palace from 1974 until 2012. His book contains interesting backstage information about his years in Schönbrunn together with a very detailed explanation of the Palace and its place in Austrian history.

Here are two excerpts from a letter addressed, in French, by Elisabeth  to Pope Pius IX.  This letter will date from 1868 and is part of the Vatican Secret Archives.

Voici une video qui montre comment s’habillait Elisabeth en 1860. Bien sûr en réalité, elle ne le faisait pas toute seule, elle avait tout un tas de personnel pour l’aider à le faire, même si cela ne lui plaisait pas forcement.

Here is a video that shows how to dress Elisabeth in 1860. Of course in reality, she did not herself, she had a lot of staff to help her do so, even if she did not love this necessarily.
